osCommerce & Zen Cart SEO Package – $POA
osCommerce search engine optimisation & Zen Cart SEO commences with a site review to assess issues involved in implementing SEO-type modifications. For example, previous modifications, including template installations, have the potential to create conflicts that may require resolutions to be engineered. We usually recommend, and will install & configure, the following Zen / osCommerce SEO options;
- Ultimate SEO URLs – produces HTML pages with product names
- Dynamic Meta Tags v1.0 – automatic generation of unique product Titles, Descriptions etc with product names
- All Products v3.0 MS 2.2 with Images – lists all products with A-Z menu, images etc.
We may also be able to install 2 additional extensions that can increase the distribution of site information, and increase the indexing potential of all product pages.
Prior to installation, we run a Search Engine ranking report to assess current status using appropriate key words and phrases.
- Utilising previously identified keyword phrases, we will then optimise existing content (minor edits), or generate new content (write new body-text copy) which includes primary keyword phrases on shop Home page, including 1st headings, 1st paragraphs, Title, Descriptions and Keywords.
- We install the SEO modules as outlined above
- We prepare “start” and “end” sections for Dynamic Meta-tags including Title & Description and Keywords.
Approximately one month after SEO work is completed, we will run a second SE ranking report (using the previous key words) to assess the ranking gains from the completed SEO process.
NB: We may also recommend and advise you to take advantage of the Submission Packages we offer, where we manually submit your site to a range of web directories to increase your 1-wat incoming link count, and the range of keywords that SE’s will associate with your site.
NB: Our presumption here is that, as part of the package, we will instalg the above modifications for you.
